Between Light and Memory

Acrylic on 610 ×450 Linen | Satin Finish

Between Light and Memory is a quiet scene from my Off the Deck series.

Painted in acrylic on linen, it reflects those brief, golden moments when the light changes everything. The two figures can be anyone. But for me, they hold the feeling of being with my sister, sharing a simple drink. Now gone, but still present in memory. A swing ball set tucked into the scene hints at childhood and the nostalgia we carry.

I want the painting to offer a pause, a moment to notice how light and memory brush up against each other.
