Working with Carrie Ladbrook on our commissioned painting of the estuary in front of Aparima Restaurant and Bar was an incredible experience. Carrie made the whole process easy and collaborative, capturing every detail we hoped for — from the old railway line and steam train, to the tiny whitebait huts lining the riverbanks, all set beneath a stormy, dark, angry sky over the estuary. She has beautifully captured Riverton’s history, character, and raw coastal drama, creating a piece we’re incredibly proud to display for years to come.
